DS Data Solutions was founded with a clear mission: to provide top-tier web scraping, data analysis, and dashboarding services for businesses seeking smarter insights. The story began with a personal journey. Our founder, a seasoned data professional, started his career as an apprentice in Data Analysis back in 2018. Through hard work, determination, and a passion for growth, he rose to become Head of Data Sourcing at his previous company.

It was during this time that he discovered his passion for web scraping. What started as a “fun game” at work quickly evolved into a deep, technical discipline. Over four years, he mastered the art of web scraping, managing over 100 scrapes across various platforms and programming languages. Starting with tools like Parsehub and Octoparse, he soon transitioned to Python, learning to utilize API calls, implement proxy rotation, and ensure efficient data collection processes.

While scraping was the foundation, data transformation and analysis became just as crucial. The data collected had to be clean, clear, and actionable. He honed his skills in data transformation, working with QlikView, SAS, and Power BI to create dashboards and track key performance indicators (KPIs). The backend data for the company’s frontend was stored in PostgreSQL, and ensuring smooth data flow from collection to visualization became second nature.

But something was missing. Witnessing the potential of independent contractors and the value they brought to companies, he saw an opportunity. Why not build something of his own? That’s when DS Data Solutions was born — a company with a clear goal to offer businesses the same high-level expertise, without the complexity of hiring in-house specialists.
